6 Eligibility criteria for Engineering
BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B.TECH.)
Pass or appearing (in the year 2019) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics / Technical Vocational subject or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category).

2 Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), Bhubaneswar Admission 2019, Placement, Fees Structure, Ranking
Institute of Technical Education and Research was established in 1996. Situated at Bhubaneswar in Odisha, the institute is affiliated to Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University. At the undergraduate level, ITER Bhubaneswar offers B.Tech degree programs in 9 disciplines. At the PG level, the college offers M.Tech. Additionally, the college also offers lateral courses in engineering. Apart from engineering courses, the ITER Bhubaneswar also offers various UG and PG courses including MBBS, BCA, MBA, MCA and MDS . In addition to it, the University also offers PhD courses in selected disciplines.
The minimum eligibility of B.Tech course is 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
Admission to 75% State Quota seats for B.Tech course is done on the basis of SAAT exam conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University.
For 10% All India Quota seats, admission is done on the basis of JEE Main score.
In case of M.Tech, BE/B.Tech degree holders in the relevant field with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of valid score in GATE.
Candidates who have passed 10th with Science subjects are eligible for admission to Diploma courses in Engineering.
For admission to Diploma course, candidates need to take SAAT exam conducted by the Professional Examination Board, Odisha.
For admission to MBBS and BDS courses, the student must qualify NEET examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
For admission to PhD courses, candidates should must qualify a written test.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for online counselling process which is conducted by DTET, Odisha.
